Prefix for hexasterous spicules with irregular number of secondary rays, when one or more (but not all) primary rays carry a single secondary ray; for example, hemidiscohexaster, ‐hexaster, ‐onychohexaster, ‐oxyhexaster, and ‐oxystauraster.
