Definition

In H.; formation of channel-like structures in dictyonine sponges through folding and fusion of the body wall, developed in addition to true channels (gaps) in the wall; pseudochannels are bounded by dermalia and atrialia (i.e., wall plication of Lefroyella); compare with channelization.
